History
Since its founding in 1958, Tozai Boeki has always worked with its business partners in a spirit of trust, according to its firm belief that "good and sustained human relation is the fundamental key for successful business," mainly dealing in a wide range of chemical and machinery products. As the name indicates, Tozai Boeki (meaning “East-West trading” in Japanese) has conducted its business and expanded its operations over the years with a global outlook. Although the world today is changing drastically, the company remains committed to working toward the next phase of its evolution, based on its founding spirit.

SDGs initiatives
Tozai Boeki issues private placement bonds to promote the SDGs.
Tozai Boeki issued private-placement bonds to promote the SDGs (in June 2018 and March 2023), with Resona Bank, Limited as their underwriter.
The proceeds from these corporate bond issues are to be used by the company to make investments to enhance the strength of its businesses. These SDGs-promoting private placement bonds are structured such that 0.1% of the total issued amount will be donated to SDGs-related organizations through Resona Bank, Limited.
